That micra would fly with the sr16ve. The biggest problem with it in the N15 is the lack of torque but since your micra weighs so little it shouldnt be an issue. If you can get a VZR gearbox as well, it has lower ratios & VLSD.

VLSD? it's an RS5F31V gearbox?

question time:
to put out.... about 220-240hp from a SR16... what I need to do on the engine? :mrgreen:
use 4 throttle bodies from a Sunny (pulsar) GTI-R it's an interesting mod to do with mainfold, custom exhaust, cams (which ones?), etc etc. ?

to get that amount you would prob need an SR20VE or SR20DE bottom end, and use the SR16VE pistons.

All VZR's have a VLSD. You might need to get a set of custom driveshafts for it for a micra though.
You will need a hefty student loan to get 220-240 bhp from a sr16. It would be cheaper to buy a sr20ve & modify that.
