So over the past few months I had been thinking about taking her off the road, I finally made the decision to do it as when I came back from holiday, I had a very wet floor,

I have now taken her off the road and will be restoring the body over the next few years, I now have a New Pulsar as a replacement now

So I think I have found the source of one of the leaks on the car. I also removed the wind deflectors.

So I have been working to get the car ready for MOT, the interior all fixed, brakes rebuilt and checked, and other general maintenence, Finished it off with a good clean inside and out. I also removed the old sticky stuff from the Wind Deflectors also.

That was one of the first jobs - Was a right pain in the arse to remove without damaging the paint.

Once this was done, it was time to give the outside a good clean as well as the inside

So today spent doing my final checks, the underseal has all cracked underneath in some places which is causing sone surface rust, will need to catch that, still got the odd damp floor inside too, but least i can spend time working on it,

Car is booked in for its MOT tomorrow, hoping its a pass

Right I am torn on what I want to do regarding alloy wheels, since the Primera is getting more rare I am considering keeping Griggs trend keeping her looking stock, obviously a sleeper. So the question is should I keep stock alloys on her or not? Seriously tempted to go oem look

So went out in the car today, noticed engine running very lean, I must have uploaded the wrong map a few months ago when I was fiddling with the ecu, so done a full road remap today, much smoother and engine much more responsive

So not been on for a while, been doing other stuff to keep me busy.

There has been a roll back on this being on the road, I have now SORN'd the car again, Not because there is anything wrong but the winter has hit, too many fuds on the road, and i am starting Project rebuild of the car as soon as the nicer weather starts,

This means by the summer, the engine will be stripped out the car, and nothing will be left but a shell to which I want to completely overhaul. The car still has leaks so no ideal for road conditions. Plus the MOT advisory shows undeneath the car has surface corrosion, which I plan on sand blasting, welding if needed and generally make solid.

So I also plan on my first brand new car in a few years, Something i have really fell in love with but i need to wait for the Pulsar to be paid off before it gets traded in.

I am taking a different approach though, suffice to say look wise not much modification will be done, with the exception of JDM lights, my 17" alloys, and a full respray,

The engine stuff i plan on getting finished, I have an SR16 upper sump pan to fit, get the clearances done, cams dialled in, also i am seriously considering going standalone ecu too.

I want to try get an LSD gearbox again or refurbish the current box and fit an LSD or make that QG hybrid, I will think more on that later.

suspension has to be Coilovers, and poly bushes outright.

Thinking about it, these Primera's are getting more rare, and I love my primera, so makes sense to make it like factory new and keep it like that.

I will be starting when the weather gets better, so watch this space for updates.
